The Missing Folder - a short story

"It's colder than before" she said to the officer. The officer looked at her with cold, unforgiving eyes with if not no emotion, only a little. She was scared, as she said, it was "colder than before ". The cell was rusty when it came to the bars and cold when it came to the floor.

You could almost feel the mercilessness there.

It was naturally cold due to the season but colder for the inmates. "What have they done?" asked the journalist from the far land.

The answer was colder than anything ever seen: "They... Those RATS! They thought they could protest against us."

The journalist was confused. Who were "us"?

The answer came quick, as if the soldier seesed what was in the journalist's mind; "We are the warriors of god. And by god I mean, the real, one and only god. We gave every mortal a chance but they used it for bad. The god told us, each of us how to act, react and do."

This cleared thing in the journalist's mind. Now he could see the disaster going on. A mentally ill place he was in, with no guarentee on his life or loved ones.

The alarms went deafeningly loud. Perhaps it was only practiced if not a real reason to panic.

Many soldiers came running with their ugly looking cold and loud boots hitting the ground like a bullet.

They were carrying people with papers in their hands and a cameraman. The interviewing man got scared and he should've been. The interviewed soldier after getting colder and colder with his face, took the man by his hand and took him to a room fast as a machine. They put him in a questioning room with the others. A minute ago he was interviewing and a minute later he was held in custody.

When the god orders something, you obey.

The End
